Business intelligence software developer Pyramid Analytics has launched a new division focused on providing U.S. government agencies with data analytics services.
The new Pyramid Federal Business Practice will be led by Joe Fritsch, director of federal sales at the company and former federal account executive at a VMware segment, Pyramid said Tuesday.
The business unit was created to bolster Pyramid’s ties with government agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs. It will provide federal resellers and system integrators access to the Pyramid Decision Intelligence Platform, which is designed for health care, homeland security, defense and other critical public services.
“Pyramid’s Federal Business Practice is the first of many strategic growth initiatives we are launching to expand our partner ecosystem, including federal systems integrators and value-added federal resellers,” Fritsch said.
Aside from Fritsch, Pyramid’s Federal Business Practice will be led by:
- Peter Morris, senior director partner channel, North America
- Dave Henry, senior vice president, strategic alliances
- Russ Cosentino, regional vice president sales, North America, East
- Brian McCormac, senior vice president, Global Sales
