The U.S. Army is soliciting industry input for a contract it is planning to procure a range of logistics support for the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems.
In a request for information notice on SAM.gov, the service branch said it is considering small businesses and other-than-small businesses to perform post-production sustainment logistics under the upcoming PEO GCS Multiple Platform – Integrated Logistics Services contract.
PEO-GCS project and product managers will need support related to U.S. and foreign vehicles including the Abrams main battle tank, M88A2 heavy equipment recovery combat utility lift and evacuation system, and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle, self-propelled howitzers and Stryker combat vehicles are also part of the future solicitation.
Services that will be covered include vehicle maintenance, fielding and deprocessing, new equipment training and work order modifications.
Interested parties have until Nov. 22 to respond to the market survey by the Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal.
