Allen Badeau, chief technology officer of Empower AI, underscored how the company’s artificial intelligence platform offers automation capabilities that can be customized based on the complexity and volume of a customer’s tasks, Virginia Business reported Friday.
Badeau shared that the Reston, Virginia-headquartered company helped an undisclosed federal customer automate work functions including the verification of health record information.
Over the past nine months, Empower AI completed up to 7,000 automation a day, enabling the client to save as much as 13 years’ worth of work.
Badeau explained that the process of moving vast amounts of health records containing thousands of pages between systems could be burdensome and time-consuming for agencies.
“When you can automate that process and automate some of the validation around that, it’s a significant time-saver from a human perspective,” Badeau added.
Empower AI offers automation services to more than 20 government clients and Badeau expects the company to double its federal customer base in 2023.
In September, the company announced a mentor-protege agreement with Lentech to develop and bring AI, cybersecurity and other information technology tools and services to the public sector.
