Michael Hayden, a principal at global advisory services firm The Chertoff Group, was honored by the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America with the Technology Good Scout Award in November 2016.
At Chertoff, the retired four-star general is focused on technological intelligence and counterintelligence, global political and terrorist risk analysis as well as intelligence community structure and strategies. He builds on his military experience and government service, including time as director of the CIA and National Security Agency and as the first principal deputy director of national intelligence.
Hayden also works as a non-resident, senior adviser on transnational threat project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
