Duane Andrews, former CEO of QinetiQ’s North American business arm, was presented with the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America’s 2009 Technology Good Scout Award in recognition of his drive to advance the technology sector while exemplifying the organization’s values.
He worked as QinetiQ North America CEO from June 2006 to March 2013 and led the subsidiary in its growth from $600 million to $1.3 billion through acquisition and integrations.
Andrews’ career also includes nearly 15 years with Science Applications International Corp., where he functioned as chief operating officer and director. Prior to transitioning to the industry, he served in the government, including 26 years of experience in military, civilian executive and legislative branches.
