Science Applications International Corp. has received a five-year, $39.6 million follow-on contract to help the Missile Defense Agency’s Quick Reaction Team research, develop and test the U.S. military’s missile defense system.
SAIC will perform trade studies, generate technical reports and data inputs and provide advisory and analytical services to support the development and deployment of products used by the MDA director for engineering, the combatant commands, the National Command Authority and Congress, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work will be performed in New York, Florida and Virginia through September 2027.
MDA awarded the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract on a sole-source basis and is obligating $1.9 million in fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
