National Aerospace Solutions will continue performing test operations and sustainment work at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex under a $189.1 million cost-plus-award-fee contract modification from the U.S. Air Force.
The award exercised option year six on a contract with a total cumulative face value of $1.8 billion that provides for the Bechtel-led team supporting the Air Force Material Command facility at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Bechtel National, Sierra Lobo and GP Strategies will conduct testing, technology development, capital enhancements, equipment and facility sustainment and support services at the complex through June 30, 2023.
The team secured the contract in 2015 and has been responsible for test operations and sustainment at AEDC since then. The deal has one year base period and seven one-year options.
