Brillient has secured a potential five-year, $70 million blanket purchase agreement to provide the Internal Revenue Service with robotic process automation capability.
The company said Thursday it will also develop and implement artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent automation and data analytics under the BPA, which has one base year and four one-year options.
The effort aims to help IRS pursue full-spectrum digital automation by combining RPA with intelligent document processing and other AI technologies.
The new contract follows Brillient’s previous automation-focused work in support of the departments of Agriculture and Energy, as well as the U.S. Air Force.
“Intelligent and robotic automation capabilities are two key components to deploying next-generation government operations and to driving friction-free services to citizens,” said Richard Jacik, chief digital officer of Brillient.
