Former DIA Director Robert Ashley Named Chairman of Zeva's Board of Advisers - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Robert Ashley, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general who served as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, has joined the board of advisers of software company Zeva as chairman.

He will be responsible for providing insight to Zeva as it markets digital identity and applied cryptography offerings to government and commercial customers in support of their efforts to bridge identity and information security gaps, the women-owned small business said Tuesday.

Ashley, a previous Wash100 Award recipient, brings to Zeva’s board of advisers experience in serving as deputy chief of staff of the Army, director of intelligence for Joint Special Operations Command, Central Command and U.S. Forces, Afghanistan, as well as commanding general of the Army Intelligence Center of Excellence.

“[Ashley’s] wealth of knowledge and expertise will help Zeva further its efforts to expand the use of technology such as Public Key Infrastructure to secure and protect sensitive government information,” said Jihan Andoni, CEO of Zeva.

The chief executive also expects that the advice and guidance from Ashey will provide Zeva with more knowledge about government agencies’ information security risks.

Zeva works with a number of government clients including the Internal Revenue Service, intelligence community members and the departments of Veterans Affairs and the Treasury.
