Darktrace has launched a U.S. federal division to help defense, intelligence, federal civilian agencies and critical infrastructure fortify their defenses against cyberattacks using self-learning artificial intelligence tools.
Sally Kenyon Grant, who has over 30 years of government experience, will lead Darktrace Federal as vice president with oversight of programs that support U.S. government agencies’ cybersecurity operations for acquisition, compliance, budget, auditing, policy and deployment, the company said Tuesday.
She will also lead efforts in helping agencies advance the adoption of AI-enabled cyber defense platforms.
Reston, Virginia-based Darktrace Federal includes former U.S. intelligence community members and subject matter experts in critical infrastructure security to help military services and federal agencies detect and counter cyberthreats across digital environments.
Darktrace’s Self-Learning AI technology works to detect early signs of cyberthreats and disrupt in-progress attacks and other threats through targeted action.
