Booz Allen Hamilton has agreed to acquire cybersecurity platform provider EverWatch, a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital, in a push to expand its classified software and analytics offerings for national security customers.
EverWatch will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Booz Allen under Judi Dotson, president of the national security sector, once the transaction is completed in the first quarter of the company’s fiscal year 2023, the McLean, Virginia-based defense contractor said Wednesday.
Founded in 2017, Reston-based EverWatch develops and operates cyber platforms designed to support classified national security programs.
“Booz Allen and EverWatch share a deep commitment to protecting our national interests with advanced technology, mission intimacy, and digital transformation. We look forward to the combined strength of our organizations to deliver exceptional support to clients in the Intelligence Community and beyond,” said John Hillen, CEO at EverWatch, and a former Wash100 Award recipient.
Baird served as financial adviser to EverWatch on the transaction while Moore & Van Allen acted as legal adviser to the company.
