Intelligent Waves, a leading-edge trusted IT systems integrator, announced on Wednesday that Tony Crescenzo, who joined the company as president in 2020, has been promoted to be its new CEO.
“It is a tremendous honor to take the reins as the CEO of Intelligent Waves, and I look forward to helping the company fulfill its full potential through innovation in the government’s most demanding and critical areas,” said Crescenzo.
Crescenzo will assume the CEO role from Intelligent Waves Founder Jared Shepard, who will continue to lead the company as chairman of the board as well as lead Hypori, Inc. as president and CEO after spinning off the company in 2021.
Shepard shared his enthusiasm for Crescenzo becoming CEO after supporting aggressive growth and profitability for the company over his first two years to help Intelligent Waves mature into a well respected market leader in the federal space.
“By initially hiring Tony Crescenzo as President in 2020, I set a strategic goal of elevating IW’s growth trajectory and scalability to the next level. It has been awesome to see how Tony Crescenzo’s leadership has materialized my vision for the company,” said Shepard. “Tony’s high-energy leadership style and ability to recruit top management talent has enabled us to maximize the value and impact of our company.”
