Sandy Smallwood, a former Peraton and Northrop Grumman executive, has joined Assured Consulting Solutions as director of the Reston, Virginia-headquartered small business’ portfolio of National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency programs.
The new director, who is a veteran in the defense and intelligence communities, will oversee ACS systems and digital engineering and managed services work for the NGA, the company said Wednesday.
Smallwood previously spent over 37 years at Northrop holding department and program management roles with a focus on supporting NGA and other intelligence organizations, as well as the U.S. Navy and federal civilian agencies.
She then moved to Peraton as intelligence systems and applications operating unit director following the acquisition of a Northrop business unit.
