Colleen Lavery has been elevated to the role of director of environmental capture for the energy and environmental practice at Redhorse Corp.
She will work to incorporate technological advancements into Redhorse strategies to address data needs of federal customers, the San Diego-headquartered information technology services company said.
Her new position will also entail fostering and broadening network connections, seeking out new opportunities and seizing recompete contracts via partnerships with project managers.
Prior to her promotion, Lavery was the head of program management for Redhorse’s federal contracts for environmental efforts. In her eight years with the company, she has been considered a key player in business development moves.
Lavery held senior-level environmental planning positions outside Redhorse and is experienced with environmental regulations, particularly NEPA. She has negotiated with agencies like the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Defense and the Environmental Protection Agency as well as the Federal Transit Administration, the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Aviation Administration.
Redhorse has been undergoing a number of leadership shifts, including naming John Zangardi as CEO and Bryan Pruden as chief financial officer in early January.
This is a result of new minority funding from Blue Delta Capital Partners.
