Jacobs has secured a three-year, $49 million task order to develop mission planning software for Air Mobility Command‘s aircraft and airdrop operations.
The company said Friday it will modernize, integrate and sustain software for AMC’s global mobility platforms, provide compatibility between mission planning data of different avionics systems, and automate airdrop capabilities to bolster overall mission performance.
The contractor will use the capabilities of its Jacobs Software Engineering Center to implement user-centered design and DevSecOps practices across the development program. JSEC’s capabilities have achieved Level 3 credentials under Capability Maturity Model Integration standards.
The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center awarded the task order.
