Brian Wylie, a 12-year leadership team member at Avion Solutions, has been promoted to the roles of vice president and chief growth officer at the Hunstville, Alabama-based military engineering contractor.
The former serviceman with the U.S. Navy is now responsible for identifying ways for strategic capability management, opportunities for investments and initiatives for business development, Avion said Thursday.
“As a veteran of the U.S. military, Brian brings real-life understanding of our customers and their needs, and he has proven success in leadership and business development,” noted Chad Donald, company president and CEO.
Wylie has been focusing on program management functions since joining Avion in 2009.
Avion is an employee-owned company that offers engineering and logistics services in support of military-grade projects of the Department of Defense.
