M1 Support Services will continue providing aircraft maintenance services to the U.S. Air Force under a potential $82 million modification to a seven-year contract with a total cumulative face value of $447 million.
The Department of Defense said Monday the 82nd Contracting Squadron at Sheppard Air Force Base has exercised the sixth option period of the firm-fixed-price contract awarded to M1 Support Services in 2016.
The Denton, Texas-based contractor will deliver aircraft maintenance in support of the service’s T-6, T-38 undergraduate pilot training and T-38 introduction to fighter fundamentals course.
M1 Support Services is being obligated $20 million from the fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance budget at the time of the award.
Work performance under the contract modification will occur at Sheppard AFB in Texas through Sept. 30, 2022.
