ECS Federal has secured a potential $87 million modification to a U.S. Army contract intended to support the management, development and maintenance of a secure unclassified network infrastructure.
Under the contract modification, the Fairfax, Virginia-based company will provide integration services in support of the SUNet system through Sept. 29, 2022, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
SUNet supports collaboration and sharing of information among the DOD, government agencies and U.S. allies.
According to the DOD, work performance will occur in Fairfax, Virginia.
ECS Federal is obligated $7 million from the fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance; and research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of the award.
The 2019 contract awarded to ECS Federal indicated that the total face value of the award with all options exercised is $112 million.
