A PAE subsidiary has been awarded a potential $177.5 million task order to provide administrative and operational services under the humanitarian assistance support contract from the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Macfadden will help USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance by deploying support services that include grant administration, interagency and cooperative agreements, staff training and capacity building, PAE said Wednesday.
As part of the task order under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Mcfadden will also assist in the recruitment and administration of U.S. personal services contracts, and field and information support work.
Charles Peiffer, interim president and CEO of PAE, said the award strengthens the company’s mission to contribute to the agency’s humanitarian initiatives. “Macfadden has the skill set needed to coordinate critical resources across the U.S. government for USAID to quickly respond to crises across the globe.”
The BHA serves as the lead federal coordinator of USAID for international disaster support. The bureau leverages the expertise of U.S. government entities to help respond to natural disasters and crises globally.
