Global Technical Systems has won a five-year, $81.3 million contract from the U.S. Navy for the delivery of DLQ-9 carriage system pods and associated hardware, and required technical data.

The contractor will provide one lot of the pods, the equipment needed for its modifications and data required for the simulation of electronic warfare threats, under the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Deliveries will support the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division’s work on EW threat simulation for weapons development, test and evaluation, fleet training and target applications.

According to the Navy, DLQ-9 is a carriage system that is used to contain EW countermeasures and emitter modules.

GTS will conduct work at its Virginia Beach, Virginia location through August 2026, and will receive funding as individual orders are issued.

The company competed against one other bidder and won the small business set-aside contract.
