The National Archives and Records Administration is seeking information on vendors with a capability to design, build and implement a Presidential Library website component that contains archived social media data.
NARA wants the contractor to use Agile development process to develop the website component with data archived from various social media platforms, according to a request for information posted Wednesday.
Archived data includes account information, incoming and outgoing content, edited content, high-resolution media and deleted content.
The contractor will perform audience research to determine user experience and usability best practices, migrate exported data, perform web development, review and test the component and provide post-launch support. NARA wants the vendor to develop the website component on its Amazon Web Services cloud environment.
The agency expects the archived social media component to emulate the look and feel of each social media platform and include a search feature and an option for users to download content.
NARA plans to award a firm-fixed-price task order with a performance period of nine months for the component.
Responses to the RFI are due July 26.
