Allen Ronk, an experienced industry leader who has founded and led various aerospace and defense businesses, will take on new roles as the CEO of Denali Communications Group and president of its largest subsidiary, Brandywine Communications.
He will oversee Denali’s multiple businesses focused on engineering electronic communication technologies, including Brandywine, a manufacturer of precision time and frequency equipment, the subsidiary said Friday.
Ronk founded Secure Communication Systems, an electronics business that provides manufacturing support to the Department of Defense and other prime contractors. Benchmark Electronics acquired the company in 2015.
He also served as the CEO of Klune Industries, a developer of aerospace and defense components, which was later on sold to Precision Castparts.
“Having worked closely with Allen over the past decade as a board member and investor in his businesses, I have seen firsthand his ability to drive significant value creation through team building, operational excellence and strategic acquisitions,” said Jake Blumenthal, Denali board member.
