ECS Federal has secured a three-year, $68.9 million contract from the U.S. Army for the design and development of new ways to approach artificial intelligence algorithms.
Work under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract will take place in Fairfax, Virginia, through June 30, 2024, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The Army’s contracting arm held an online, competitive solicitation for the contract and gathered 999 proposals.
The contractor received an initial obligation of $16.3 million taken from fiscal 2021 funds, which were allotted for research, development, test, evaluation and defense-wide projects.
ECS offers information technology, cyber, communications, systems integration, network engineering, data, help desk and program management services to civilian, defense and commercial customers.
