Shaun Bierweiler: Riverbed-Microsoft Partnership Helps Government Clients Address Network Requirements - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Shaun Bierweiler, senior vice president and general manager of the public sector business at Riverbed Technology, said Microsoft brings complementary technology platforms to a partnership that allows both companies to help agencies manage the performance of mission-critical networks and applications.

In a LinkedIn post published Tuesday, Bierweiler emphasized the importance of collaborative work between vendors as government organizations execute digital transformation projects that were either planned before the pandemic or initiated amid the global public health crisis.

“Ensuring mission success requires partners that share a unified vision of what it takes to help agencies accelerate out of the pandemic, build on silver-lining successes, and transform from where they are now to where they want to be tomorrow,” he wrote.

Bierweiler noted that Riverbed has helped customer agencies implement its Unified Network Performance Management platform and other technologies to work with Microsoft’s cloud-based collaboration tools.

“Jointly, we’ve enabled our public sector customers to not only respond to crisis in front of them, but helped them reimagine telework in the future and the role of the network as a driver of mission success.”
