San Diego-based professional services company Solute has secured a potential five-year, $46.6 million contract to engineer systems, software and networks for the third phase of the U.S. Navy’s Small Business Innovation Research program.
The SBIR Phase III award from Naval Information Warfare Systems Command will include cybersecurity and DevSecOps support services to the military branch, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
NAVWAR will issue one task order to comply with the $100,000 minimum quantity provision in the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $113,594 for the initial work.
DOD said the contract has one-year base ordering period and four one-year options.
Solute is among the 11 companies selected in March for a $249.7 million Navy contract that encompasses technical support services for the branch’s cybersecurity, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems and ISR activities.
