The National Institute of Standards and Technology will host a three-day virtual workshop with the goal of determining intended uses, challenges and best practices associated with measurement and evaluation of artificial intelligence platforms.
NIST said Wednesday the event is scheduled to kick off June 15 and ideal for researchers, developers and policymakers.
The agency works with both the public and private sectors to advance AI research efforts that include exploring methods to test the emerging technology and crafting data standards for work in that area.
