ICF has received a potential five-year, $33.9 million contract to help NASA administer a program that works to coordinate government agencies' studies on changes.
The company will perform administrative and technical support services for the U.S. Global Change Research Program's National Coordination Office.
The Washington, D.C.-based office assists agencies in coordinating investments and scientific requirements in support of global change research, through programmatic, analytical and technical services.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is valued at $25.9 million and has an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity component worth $8 million. It includes a one-year base period and four option years.
The government launched USGCRP in 1989 as a Congressionally mandated effort under the National Science and Technology Council's Committee on Environment.
The Subcommittee on Global Change Research leads the effort and will receive support through the contract.
