SteelCloud has received an enterprise-scale license from the U.S. Army for a software suite designed to monitor and remediate compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guide requirements.

The license will allow the ConfigOS compliance automation software suite to support more than 40,000 endpoints within the Army's enterprise across the globe, the company said Tuesday.

ConfigOS works to help users establish a secure environment that could comply with STIG or Center for Information Security standards.

SteelCloud wrapped up ConfigOS' initial installation and is slated to implement the system later in the year.

The Army seeks to speed up authority to operate and risk management framework processes through the platform.
