Palantir Technologies has awarded Anduril Industries a subcontract to design a hardware system for the first phase of a U.S. Army prototype competition aiming to modernize an expeditionary intelligence ground station.
Anduril said Tuesday it will serve as the lead architect of physical infrastructure the team will build and demonstrate as part of the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node program.
The Army awarded Palantir and Raytheon Technologies other transaction agreements earlier this year to develop TITAN prototypes.
TITAN will be designed with artificial intelligence and machine learning to help military users collect huge amounts of data for joint all-domain operations and global intelligence missions, Anduril noted.
