Mindy McPheeters, interim general counsel of Spirit AeroSystems, has been promoted to the position on a full-time basis and she will concurrently serve as senior vice president and corporate secretary.
She joined the Wichita, Kansas-based aerostructure manufacturing company in 2015 and oversaw litigation, compliance and employment functions in her previous roles, Spirit said Thursday.
Tom Gentile, president and CEO of Spirit AeroSystems, said McPheeters will support diversification initiatives as a member of the company's executive leadership team.
The manufacturer's core offerings include aircraft fuselage, wing assemblies and components, nacelle and pylons.
