The Missile Defense Agency is looking for potential sources of concepts to support the planned command and control, battle management and communications platform for enterprise-wide defense network communications.
MDA said in a notice posted Friday that C2BMC will include hardware and software intended to support communications links, sensors and other networked battle management functions.
C2BMC is also envisioned to have real-time elements for situational awareness as well as features to support advanced planning and force training.
According to the final request for information, C2BMC will serve as a key component of the Missile Defense System and must have the capacity to rapidly develop, test and integrate new technologies to address emerging adversary threats.
MDA plans to integrate software modules and data products into the C2BMS architecture. Other deliverables include logistics support and periodic updates of associated modeling technologies and hardware.
The agency is looking to execute the capability development process in increments.
