Maxar Technologies has secured a $48.3 million contract to help the U.S. Army gather, analyze and apply geospatial intelligence.

The company will use predictive analysis and signature analyst tools to perform these support services, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Work will take place in Chantilly, Virginia, through March 3, 2023. The contractor received an initial payment of $101,420 taken from fiscal 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds.

The Army launched an online solicitation for the contract and received one proposal.

The DOD issued the contract to Radiant Mission Solutions, which is now part of Maxar.
