John Phillips, a more than 20-year enterprise software sales management veteran, has joined automated testing services provider Tricentis as vice president for public sector.
Phillips will oversee Tricentis' public sector go-to-market approach and build strategic partner relationships under his new capacity, the company said Monday.
Prior to Tricentis, Phillips held the same role at IronNet Cybersecurity and Cisco's Viptela subsidiary. He also spent time at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and IBM.
Phillips said he looks forward to help government agencies automate their testing requirements.
The appointment of Phillips came after Carahsoft Technology entered into an agreement with Tricentis in 2020 to offer the latter's automated software products through the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-Software 2 and Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contract vehicles.
