TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 4, 2021 — Amentum will help the U.S. Navy Program Executive Officer for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons integrate and engineer systems for range facilities as part of a five-year, $43 million task order under the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services contract, GovCon Wire reported Feb. 24.
Jill Bruning, president of Amentum's intelligence, systems engineering, security, services and solutions unit, said the award provides the company an opportunity to extend work with the Navy from waterfront projects to ranges.
