The Department of Homeland Security has released a draft request for proposals for an upcoming contract to develop an enterprise process for managing federal cybersecurity professionals' compensation.
DHS wants to implement a new Cybersecurity Compensation System consisting of practices, rules and policies to increase its ability to attract professionals who are skilled in the field, according to the draft RFP notice posted Thursday on SAM.
The future platform will function as a key component of DHS' Cybersecurity Talent Management System and is intended to help the department come up with a competitive salary package as part of talent recruitment and retention efforts.
The department noted it plans to procure design, analysis, operation and surge support services through a single-award contract and expects to release a final solicitation notice by March 16.
