Sumeet Shrivastava, president and CEO of Array Information Technology, has been named a founding member of a George Mason University council tasked with guiding and promoting the school's innovation initiative.
He will join other business executives to offer strategic guidance for the President’s Innovation Advisory Council, the IT company said Friday.
“This distinguished leadership council, along with the Arlington Innovation Initiative, will help ensure that the region continues to attract, educate and shape the brightest minds in our industry and continue our rise as one of the hottest technology and entrepreneur ecosystems in the country,†said Shrivastava, who serves as president of GMU's alumni association.
PIAC's private sector members include executives from Deltek, Dovel Technologies and Verizon, according to the university.
