Geospark Analytics has received a contract through the second phase of the Small Business Innovation Research program to create a mass notification capability for the U.S. Air Force.
The company said Tuesday it will implement the artificial intelligence-based feature into the Geospark-made Hyperion system of USAF to deliver risk and threat notifications to the service branch.
The contract marks the third award under Phase II of the SBIR program for the Hyperion platform.
Hyperion is designed to analyze streams of publicly available information and determine anomalies in activity levels via an AI engine. The platform can also predict potential risks and evaluate stability.
The technology has been used by the Department of Defense’s service branches, combat support agencies and combatant command.
