The partnership will offer the Workspace Insights and Collaboration Performance Management platforms to the public sector through Carahsoft's reseller network and contracts under NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V vehicle and Maryland's statewide commercial off-the-shelf software acquisition program, the company said Tuesday.
CPM's analytics module is intended to help users identify usability gaps and obtain insights while its monitoring module is built to provide notifications and quality metrics for live or completed phone, video or web-based meetings.
Vyopta designed its technology to process data from applications such as Cisco Meeting Server, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
â€œCollaboration has become critical in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and our customers have expressed a need for full visibility into their complex collaboration environments,â€ saidÂ Natalie Gregory, vice president of sales overseeing the Vyopta practice at Carahsoft.
Gregory added the partnership seeks to help customer agencies manage usage of meeting rooms and compliance reporting requirements.
Cody Bell, director of federal accounts at Vyopta, cited a demand for video and unified communications troubleshooting technologies in the government information technology sector.
Vyopta secured an "In Process" designation under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program last month and noted at the time the company is pursuing FedRAMP certification with sponsorship of the General Services Administration.
