Matt Grimm, chief operating officer of Anduril, said the defense technology company has approximately 400 employees and plans to increase its workforce to 700 to 800 by the end of 2021, Inside Defense reported Friday.
"What we're really doing is just doubling down on the [recruitment] strategy," he told the publication in an interview.
Grimm said Anduril is looking for hardware and software engineers and employees with artificial intelligence skills. He also cited the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic on the company’s recruitment and business development efforts.
Anduril, which produces an unmanned aerial system and Lattice AI software, is preparing to move to its new 432,000-square-foot headquarters in Los Angeles early next year. The company also plans to establish a research-and-development facility at the new location.
