Leidos has been recognized for its innovation, leadership and performance as Cisco's business partner for federal contracting efforts in defense and intelligence markets.
Leidos said Friday it was named Federal Breakaway Partner of the Year as part of the Cisco Partner Summit Global awards, a program that recognizes the outcome-focused programs, innovative processes, sales approaches and effective system architecture of top-performing Cisco partners.
The network hardware maker's regional executives and representatives from its global partner organizations selected the awards' recipients.Â
Vicki Schmanske, president of Leidos' intelligence group, said the recognition reflects the company's long-term partnership with Cisco and its capability to serve customers in local, state and federal governments.
Leidos and Cisco serve government and intelligence community customers, delivering security, management, monitoring and sustainment services in support of sensitive networks.
Cisco also named Leidos a Gold Certified Partner, in recognition of the latter's network technology expertise and customer satisfaction delivery.
