CyberSheath Services International has begun offering a suite of information technology services intended to help contracting firms manage compliance with existing and new requirements for securing Department of Defense assets.
The company said Tuesday its Managed IT Services for Defense Contractors offering employs a technology stack comprised of Microsoft's Azure Government blueprints, security portfolio and 365 Government Community Cloud High.
The release comes two months after CyberSheath achieved "registered provider organization" status from the accreditation body for DOD's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program and the designation signifies that the company can provide non-certified consulting services to CMMC clients.
CMMC standards are intended to guide defense contractors in ensuring their processes and practices aligned with a cybersecurity maturity level defined by the department.
Andy Shooman, chief operating officer of CyberSheath, said the company seeks to help prime contractors and subcontractors gain a deep understanding of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
The IT security firm intends to use an “Assess – Implement – Manage†approach in efforts to help clients navigate DFARS requirements.
