Dana Mariano, a professional with over two decades of experience in the cybersecurity sector, has been named as chief financial officer of threat intelligence company LookingGlass Cyber Solutions.
LookingGlass said Friday that Mariano has helped transition businesses seeking to operate as public companies and will manage overall financial operations at the Reston, Virginia-based company.
Most recently, Mariano helped Fairfax County authorities in executing the RISE COVID-19 relief program for nonprofits and small businesses as a grant manager.
During her time in CFO roles at Invincea and NetWitness, Mariano helped lead the sale of both early-stage companies to Sophos and RSA Security, respectively.
She also had a significant role in Cardinal Health's acquisition of CareFusion where she served as corporate counsel and controller.
Gilman Louie, CEO of LookingGlass, said Mariano’s financial and cybersecurity experience will support the company in its efforts to further its growth.
Mariano’s appointment comes after former Department of Homeland Security officials Bryan Ware and Brian Harrell joined the LookingGlass advisory board this month.
