In-Q-Tel has invested in Chicago-based Catalytic to help the latter further develop and bring its no-code workflow automation platform to the government sector.
Catalytic said Tuesday it will introduce an on-premise version of its cloud-based platform this year as part of its expansion into the public sector and efforts to help state, federal and local governments improve citizen engagement, services delivery and internal processes.Â
“Catalytic's platform is designed for flexibility and ease of use, making their solution well suited for automating workflows in the diverse operating environments of the U.S. intelligence and defense communities," said Brinda Jadeja, senior partner for investments at In-Q-Tel. "Their no-code platform makes it possible for a wide range of users to automate time-consuming, complex workflows, increasing speed and efficiency while freeing up time to focus on mission critical responsibilities.â€
Sean Chou, CEO and co-founder of Catalytic, said the company looks forward to delivering platforms designed to help address technology challenges within the public sector and plans to launch an interactive virtual learning experience to help platform users improve their low-code and no-code skills.
Catalytic reported growth in user adoption of its platform in 2020 with the launch of product enhancements that centered on citizen development, governance and operational intelligence. The platform’s new features include Workflow Insights and collaborative web form tables.
