General Dynamics's mission systems business and Redcom Laboratories have partnered to market a Type 1 cryptographic voice gateway designed to provide companies and government agencies with end-to-end secure communications.
The Secure Voice Gateway is built to comply with the National Security Agency's Advanced Cryptographic Capabilities standard, connect red/black networks and support new and legacy secure communications interoperability protocol voice devices, Redcom said Tuesday.
The technology features a half-duplex transmission system and utilizes Secure Device Interface boards and General Dynamics' Sectera vIPer phones to handle additional lines and set up Type 1 secure conference calls.
Users of STE-R and SWT-R boards may use Sectera vIPer and SDI as replacement encryptors, according to Redcom.
Headquartered in Victor, New York, Redcom is a woman-owned small business that offers products and services in strategic, operational and tactical communications.
