Ross Vincenti, associate general counsel at Intelsat, will support Allison as SIA's vice chair while Spire Global General Counsel Ananda Martin will manage the trade association's financial assets as treasurer, SIA said Tuesday.
Allison helps Boeing acquire radiofrequency spectrum and observe regulatory compliance across space technologies and other offerings. She served as a regulatory consultant to the Department of Defense.
Vincenti leads Intelsat's compliance with legal policy on trade and export matters. He formerly served as the chief legal officer of spectrum management company Federated Wireless.
Martin oversees Spire's legal affairs in her current role with the company that operates a constellation of nanosatellites. The company uses the constellation's gathered data for cloud analytics, with applications in maritime, weather awareness and aviation areas.
The executives, together with the leads of the SIA working groups for 2021, will support the association as it represents and promotes the U.S. satellite industry's advocacy and policy stands to federal lawmakers.
“Each of them brings a tremendous level of satellite industry and regulatory expertise to our board leadership,†said Stuart Daughtridge, VP for advanced technology at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions and SIA's outgoing chairperson.
