AECOM has appointed Jennifer Aument as chief executive of the company’s global transportation segment and Drew Jeter as chief executive of its global program management business, AECOM reported on Tuesday. Aument’s appointment will take effect April 5 and Jeter’s selection will begin on Jan. 25.

As chief executive, Aument will supervise AECOM’s global transportation design business to drive innovative transportation solutions. She will also help clients’ deliver safe, sustainable and cost-effective transportation systems.
Jeter, in his new role, will leverage AECOM’s technical expertise to deliver front-end advisory services for large capital programs and to handle clients’ programs to support their objectives throughout the project lifecycle.

Throughout her career, Aument delivered major projects across the highway, rail and port sectors, leveraging her understanding of all aspects of development. Aument is also an industry leader and advisor to governments for transport policy, innovative finance, multi-modal mobility solutions and public-private partnerships.
Prior to her new role, Aument served with Transurban, where she served most recently as president and CEO of the company’s North American business. With Transurban, Aument supervised development, financing, delivery and operations of toll road infrastructure.Â
Jeter brings more than three decades of experience in leading the development and delivery of multi-billion-dollar facilities and infrastructure. Before his position with AECOM, Jeter held global program management leadership roles at Hill International, Jacobs and CH2M.Â
