Raytheon Technologies' intelligence and space business has developed a workstation designed to streamline the way air traffic controllers manage and perform multiple tasks.
The company said Thursday it gathered input from air traffic controllers to produce the Multi-platform Automation Re-hosting Solution or MARS.
MARS allows air traffic controllers to customize workstation layouts with multiple host applications, monitors and commercially available input devices.
Mitch Herrick, MARS consultant at Raytheon Intelligence and Space, said the platform can operate with existing workstation systems and also support any industry that involves the use of integrated data.
MARS also features an open architecture to make the acquisition and maintenance process of equipment easier and to lessen variation in systems.
Raytheon Technologies is offering to demonstrate MARS to government, military and aviation customers.
