LMI has secured a $20M contract to help the General Services Administration's Public Buildings Service carry out digital modernization efforts.
The company said Thursday it has partnered with Tiber Creek Consulting to build an online portal for applications designed to help users from GSA PBS maintain, lease and manage buildings for tenant agencies.
The portal is envisioned to support real estate inventory and lease management capabilities and help building managers perform and complete inspections.
"This portal is a significant step toward making organizational data more accessible, enabling GSA PBS employees to perform their daily responsibilities with greater efficiency, transparency, and collaboration," said Josh Wilson, vice president of digital and analytic solutions at LMI.
He added that GSA and other civilian federal agencies that use the portal will benefit from the system and gain assistance in meeting workspace needs.
GSA seeks to roll out an intuitive, mobile-based user experience for tenant agencies and PBS personnel through the modernization project.w
"We look forward to working alongside our partners to advise GSA PBS on its digital transformation journey," said Jeff Wehner, director at LMI's civilian market.
Work on the contract is projected to be done over a five-year period.Â
