Kevin Martin, chief information officer at Cadence Aerospace, has been appointed to serve in an additional role as CEO of the engines systems business starting Jan. 1, 2021.
Cadence Aerospace said Tuesday that Martin will replace Bob Quaglia, who has been serving as the engines systems arm’s CEO since March and is slated for retirement.
Martin will continue in his current capacity and assume additional responsibilities over the business unit’s three locations in Phoenix and Massachusetts.
He will lead efforts to identify growth opportunities and report to Julian Guerra, the company’s CEO as well as the chief executive of its aerostructures segment.
Martin joined Cadence Aerospace in January 2019 as CIO. His experience includes spending more than 12 years at Pratt & Whitney where he held an associate director position for the company’s military engines business development operations and served across similar program manager roles.
Earlier in his career, Martin held a similar position at the Otis Elevator Company with oversight on eFulfillment and business intelligence functions.
According to Guerra, Martin brings significant expertise in program management, marketing, engineering design, customer relationship management and strategic planning to his expanded role.
