Michael Garbus, former vice president of global health business development and solutions at Maximus, has been named VP of health care information technology at TurningPoint Global Solutions, G2Xchange Health reported Monday.
He brings 35 years of industry experience to TurningPoint and will be responsible for the Rockville, Maryland-based software engineering company's federal health care IT market area.
Garbus initially joined Maximus in 2017 as VP of assessment and appeals after more than seven years of service at CGI, where he previously worked as sector vice president of health care and compliance programs.
His career also includes systems engineering positions at Perot Systems and EDS.
TurningPoint provides support to government customers in areas such as health IT, agile software development, enterprise network and telecommunications life cycle management and infrastructure operations and maintenance.
